For all certified divers, we offer a variety of different fun diving activities. They range from relaxing fun dives in the coral rich, protected Marine Park, to exciting deeper dives at the HTMS Chang, the largest recreational wreck in Thailand. If you haven’t been diving in a while, we’ll do refresher first to get you comfortable again.
If you aren’t yet certified you can join us for 3 days of training and diving to gain a new skill and hobby for life.

At Thai Ocean Academy we focus strongly on neutral buoyancy from your first dive. We have small group sizes, premium equipment and passionate instructors to make you the best diver you can be.

We work closely with ATMEC, Environmental Justice Foundation and Love Wildlife, which are Thai NGOs that are working on monitoring and clearing marine debris from the ocean. Together we educate on reef ecology and how to survey reefs to monitor their health status.

After working in the industry for multiple years, learning about about the different diving styles, dive sites in the area and honing their skills not only in Thailand but worldwide, three men that initially met on Koh Chang decided it was time to start their own dive shop. Thai Ocean Academy Koh Chang was born in the midst of the pandemic, but the vision for its owners was clear: provide outstanding service as well as equipment and go above and beyond what’s required by the standards.
They spent time carefully selecting their team, stocking their equipment and buying a dive boat that was brought to Koh Chang on a sleepless 21 hour journey on the ocean (but that’s a story for another day 😉 )
With tourism picking up, the dive center is growing organically and making customers happy since 2022.
